Chrysler Museum of Art Wedding
Britt and Steve’s wedding was a true vision of pure love and commitment. The Chrysler Museum of Art, portrayed culture, elegance, and pure variety in every element. With all of her wonderful vendors, and how this venue is already beautiful in itself, they truly did not have to do much to transform this space. They implemented subtle details, and beautiful up lighting, so stay tuned to see exactly how they transformed this space with Spain inspired customs. This beautiful day was captured by Molly Lichten Photography.
Their Love Story
We met at an Officer’s event called a Dining Out in Newport Rhode Island and never looked back. After 6 years, 3 duty stations, two deployments and a stent overseas for two years, we’re ready to put down roots. We love that we’re best friends and partners in crime in all things. We knew it was meant to be after I came home from a 2 year assignment in Spain and it was like I never left.
The Theme and Color Scheme
We like simple and classic elements, we didn’t pick wedding colors but let the palette for the night develop organically. We wanted the event to have the feel of a black tie event the bride attended at a Sherry Bodega in Spain.
We’re having a Jamon carving station!
Advice for Future Couples
Don’t try to over complicate things. Keep things simple and elegant. Less is more!
A lot of things truly didn’t stress Britt out. She was very organized, and she actually created multiple items that allowed her day to flow smoothly as possible. Which allowed me, as her wedding coordinator to implement everything she desired and more, to allow everything to stay on track. She was able to enjoy her wedding day, knowing everything was taken care of, as well as her family and friends.
