Weddings to me aren’t just events that come and go. Weddings a true testament to the love between a husband and wife, committing to share every intimate detail with each other until death do them part. That’s why when I had the chance to become a wedding coordinator, I knew this was my calling and I hoped on the opportunity to share my passion with other brides and family. I started wedding planning, when I planned my own from start to finish. Now I know a lot of brides do that, but I noticed that I loved it, and thought maybe I can do more in the future. Which leads me to my current employment now. I have gone through this tremendous wedding training program that has informed, and instilled knowledge of things I had no idea about.
Williamsburg + Richmond Wedding Planner
When I book a bride it involves more than just making money. I love hearing the background, how they met, and I love envisioning their big day, while getting excited with them. Weddings can be so stressful, so my main priority is to serve you to the best of my ability, and meet every want and need. I know plans change, and visions change but that’s what I love the most, each couple is different, each venue is different, and each vision is different. With so many differences, it is my job as your wedding coordinator to execute them to the best of my ability.
Steps to Planning Your Wedding
There are a lot of different elements that go into wedding planning, but one of the first steps is figure out budget. To me this is the most important, because if you set a budget then you can figure out things you can afford, and certain things that may need to come off the list. The second step, I feel is the most important is get organized. This step can actually play along with the first one, make sure you have everything you need folders, numbers, along with budget to help stay organized and on track. Finally, this last step serves as something most brides forget, have fun! Your wedding day will come and go in a hurry. So, enjoy it while the moment lasts, bask in everything, and remember those special moments in the process. You only get one wedding day, make it count, and make it last forever!
